The Printed Word – hand print opening lines from famous novels with West Yorkshire Print Workshop
Join WYPW at their new unit on the Piazza to have a go at printing epic opening lines from books and learn more about the art of letterpress printing. Handle historic wooden type and see some traditional printing equipment and presses at work.
Ideal for ages 6+ although younger children can be accommodated with simple letter stamping activities.
Sessions repeated on Friday 19 April, again at 11am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3pm.
