A Huddersfield Live event in the HuddLitFest Tipi.
Join Jennifer Burkinshaw, an award-winning, local author as she discuss the ‘meet-cute’ in its broadest sense, including its origins.
In this interactive workshop you’ll look at examples in books and films; consider the’meet-cute’s’ role in story structure and have a go at writing your own ‘meet-cutes’.
Jennifer Burkinshaw is the author of two young adult novels, Igloo and Happiness Seeker. Igloo recently won the grand prize at the Eyelands International Book Festival, Athens.
Jennifer is published by Beaten Track Publishing. Her work-in-progress is Going West, a novel for adults.
