About the event
Serendipity Creative Writers brings you a selection of writing from those often marginalised in society in an anthology that showcases that labels aren’t a barrier to creative expression. All welcome.
Serendipity Creative Writers is a small charity whose aim is to help build better communities throughout Kirklees. The organisation facilitates a number of two-hour workshops for adults in Kirklees, in local community cafes. The workshops are fun and friendly and there is no pressure in sharing your scribbles. The aim is to help reduce isolation and loneliness, teach new skills and give people an opportunity to make new friendships. Serendipity also works to remove the stigma about mental health and to promote good mental health. Open to all, Serendipity wants everyone to feel valued and that your voice is important.
