Nick Ahad is a writer, broadcaster and comedian. His latest play, Glory, is set in the world of amateur wrestling, he has worked as a storyline writer and scriptwriter for Emmerdale and he writes regularly for the Yorkshire Post. On radio, he hosts Little Nick’s Big Show every Saturday on BBC Radio Leeds, reviews theatre for Radio 4’s Front Row and has made three hour-long documentaries for BBC Radio.

In 2018, he started doing stand up and has since performed in venues across the north and Midlands to great acclaim.

Dave Haslam is a writer of non-fiction music books, music journalist and DJ of global renown. He made more than 450 appearances as a DJ at the legendary Hacienda in Manchester during the late 1980s and has since appeared at venues worldwide.

Dave’s first book was Manchester England, a groundbreaking study of Manchester’s radical and musical history; this was followed by non-fiction titles on the music industry: Not Abba, Adventures on Wheels of Steel and Life After Dark: A History of British Nightclubs and Music Venues.

His latest, Sonic Youth Slept on My Floor: Music, Manchester & More, was recommended by Q Magazine “for fans of club culture, pop music, youthful exuberance and grown-up wisdom”.
