About the event
An exhibition that celebrates the work created by members of Aspire Creating Communities in partnership with local schools. Aspire has collaborated with photographer Chris Chinnock to produce artwork together with the children for this exhibition, celebrating ‘Journeys’ in every sense of the word.
Since 2015, Aspire Creating Communities has been dedicated to offering a safe space for over 400 vulnerable individuals annually, aged 55 and above, integrating them into a local, enjoyable, and compassionate community. For many, attending a group represents their sole weekly source of social interaction. As a charity rooted in Occupational Therapy, Aspire places a special emphasis on activities that enhance everyday life: taking care of yourself, enjoying leisure activities, and being productive. The organisation’s interest lies in fostering meaningful and impactful activities that have a positive influence on overall wellbeing.
