Storytelling: Winnie-the-Pooh (2pm Show)

Celebrate 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh with Jane Riordan, author of  Winnie-the-Pooh: Tales from the ForestandWinnie-the-Pooh: Once There Was a Bear 

Go on an adventure to Hundred Acre Wood, get to know Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, hear a special storytime, and discover how to draw the bear of very little brain. 
 

Jane Riordan worked as a primary school teacher before embarking on a career in book publishing. She has written and edited countless books for children. 

 

NOTE:

There are two showings of this event on 16 May, at 12pm and at 2pm. Run time is approx. 45 minutes.

Illustrating Children’s Books with Chris Mould

A creative draw-along session with the award-winning children’s author and illustrator, Chris Mould. Chris will talk about his craft and demonstrate how he creates his imaginative drawings, with the option of drawing along under his guidance (please bring your own pens and paper). 

 

Suitable for children aged 7+ and adults alike.  

 

A talented artist, Chris has illustrated adaptations of classic stories such as The Iron Man, War of the Worlds and Animal Farm. He teamed up with author Matt Haig for the bestselling children’s books A Boy Called Christmas, A Girl Who Saved Christmas, Father Christmas and Me and The Truth PixieHis work has appeared on theatre posters, in major newspapers and in character development work for animated features for Aardman Animations, Channel 4 and the BBC.
