Calling all book festival organisers and arts practitioners across the north and beyond!
In April 2019, we held a very positive day that saw 50+ people working in the arts coming together to network, share best practice and take part in sessions on funding, diversity and accessibility.
Our follow-up event, now renamed Cultural Connections, will be held on Thursday 26 March in Heritage Quay at the University of Huddersfield. Having collated feedback from our 2019 event, this one will start with registration at 10.30am and will finish by 4.30pm to allow time for travel.
Once again, it will be open to all but sessions will be of particular interest to UK book festival organisers, library staff who organise events, and other arts practitioners working in similar fields.
The booking fee will be kept at £25 to cover refreshments during the day and speakers’ travel (delegates will be responsible for their own travel/hotel arrangements).
