Workshop: Photography with BSDC

About the event

A fun and engaging photography workshop for all levels, led by Balbir Singh Dance Company. 

 

The workshop will explore different ways to photograph people and places. There will be dancers performing for you to photograph and you can also learn how to take better pictures of yourselves. There will also be the opportunity to move outside and explore ideas around photographing the theatre and the local built environment.  

 

Bring your smart phones or cameras; cameras will also be available to borrow.  

 

Balbir Singh Dance Company was founded in 1998 and has grown to be a leading dance company that specialises in blending contemporary western dance and classical Indian Kathak. BSDC makes exciting and original dance theatre, telling stories in innovative ways, inspired by the imaginative vision of artistic director Balbir Singh. Based in Leeds, the company regularly works with the best artists and musicians and presents work to diverse audiences in the UK and internationally.
