In this three-hour workshop, Anita Franklin will show you how to use literature and movement to create short monologues that express your hopes and intentions and to identify your own guidelines for living in accordance to what’s most precious to you.

The group will be inspired by the writings of Andrea Levy, Maya Angelou, Margaret Atwood, Seni Seniviratne, Nawal El-Saadawi and others, embarking on a journey to express the stories that make us stronger.

The objectives of this workshop are:

  • To express how our intentions, purposes and aspirations are a part of our life stories
  • To increase awareness of ourselves and others
  • To increase our capacity to speak before an audience
  • To increase our ability to engage others.

Bring lunch to share.
