Sir Patrick Stewart OBE is one of the world’s most gifted and best loved actors – and one of Yorkshire’s most famous sons.

As well as a distinguished career as a stage actor, including many Shakespearean roles, he is known for his portrayals of Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men series of movies and Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the TV series and movies of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Born in Mirfield, Sir Patrick is a keen supporter of Huddersfield Town football club and Patron of the Huddersfield Literature Festival. We are thrilled to present this exclusive event in which he will be interviewed about his illustrious career and answer questions from the audience.

Nick Ahad has written for radio, TV, film and the theatre. He is also a print and broadcast journalist, and has a regular show on BBC Radio Leeds.

Ticket price includes a £1 booking from the Town Hall.
£1 from every ticket will also go to Refuge.

Sir Patrick Stewart is also Patron of the national domestic violence charity Refuge (www.refuge.org.uk) and a donation of £1 will be made to the charity for every ticket sold.
