With a reputation for mesmerising street theatre rooted in physical storytelling, Dark Horse Theatre’s second year student ensemble are thrilled to present Making room. Featuring poetry by Ibrahim Ismail, movement direction by Keisha Hamilton and an original score by Aron Bourke.

Performing in the Lawrence Batley Theatre courtyard at 2pm on Thursday 23 March, Tuesday 28 March and Thursday 30 March.

Dark Horse has a mission for people with learning disabilities to be given the equality of opportunity to train and work in the performing arts. Established in 1998 as Full Body and the Voice, the company rebranded as Dark Horse in 2012. The company premieres original work with an ensemble of exceptional actors with learning disabilities and non-learning disabled actors from the wider industry. Dark Horse produces work to tour nationally that is visually impactful and has a reputation of surprise, innovation and the ability to reverse expectations.
