About the event
The UK’s first SF, fantasy and speculative fiction multi-arts festival celebrating authors, artists, crafts and other media. Plus a tribute to Iain M Banks presented by Huddersfield Literature Festival.

Cosmia will feature a range of authors and events, including the Humming Vibrating Architecture music installation by Colin Franke, and an Art and Astronomy exhibition.

Iain M Banks: 10 Years Gone
Iain M Banks (1954-2013) was one of the foremost British science fiction writers, creator of The Culture series and standalone SF books. Ten years after his untimely death, we celebrate his life and work, with his friend and fellow SF novelist Ken MacLeod, and music collaborator, composer Gary Lloyd.
Event Date: Saturday 22 April
Time: The event runs from 10am-8.15pm, Ian M Banks runs from 7pm-8.15pm
Venue: Barbara Hepworth Building, University of Huddersfield, Queensgate, Huddersfield HD1 3DH
