HLF/Woven Book Trail

In collaboration with Woven Festival, we are inviting neighbourhood groups to take part in a Book Trail as part of this year’s Huddersfield Literature Festival (18-28 March).

Using eco-friendly and recycled materials, such as old clothes/fabrics, group members will create a scene or character(s) from a favourite book to display in their gardens or windows, to create a local trail from Sunday 28 March (the last day of the Festival) to Monday 5 April (Easter Monday).

There will be book token prizes for area winners and a literary/foodie hamper for one overall winner.

Please note: you must adhere to Covid-19 restrictions when following the Book Trails, including any social distancing measures, mask wearing and restrictions on travel outside your local area mandated by the government and/or local council at the time. Find out more here.

For more information and details of the groups taking part, please visit the Book Trail competition page on our website.
