Attic Stories is a night of words, shared spoken and sung at the Lawrence Batley Theatre! Award-winning poet Rose Condo hosts with special guest performer Jenny Berry. Plus open mic – sign up on the door! Tickets are Pay What You Feel and can be booked at www.thelbt.org.
Rose Condo is an award-winning Canadian poet currently based in Salford. She studied Theatre & Drama at the University of Winnipeg and earned her MA in Theatre & Development Studies at the University of Leeds. She is the National Project Lead for Arts Emergency and has been writing, performing and teaching for over 20 years. Her debut poetry collection After the Storm was published in 2020 and her multi-award-winning projects and shows include The Empathy Experiment, The Geography of Me, How To Starve An Artist. She has hosted In Conversation events, supported acclaimed spoken word artists, and competed in and won several Slams.
