In this exhilarating and moving dance, music and storytelling performance, Annapurna Indian Dance pays homage to the forgotten soldiers from undivided India, who fought for Britain during WWI.

United in their mission to support the Allies’ war effort, more than a million Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and Gurkhas fought on many fronts, earning over 9,200 decorations, including 11 Victoria Crosses. More than 74,000 sacrificed their lives.

Here, the innovative Annapurna Indian Dance company explores the legacy of their contribution and brings their stories to life.

Performers include storyteller Ian Clayton and celebrated drummer Pratap Ramachandran.
