The search is on to reunite this boy with Elmer the Elephant!

Seven years ago, this little Elmer fan stole the show… but we don’t know who he is!
This joyful picture was taken at our Festival in 2019, when Elmer the Patchwork Elephant last came to visit in the character’s 30th anniversary year. Families gathered at the Packhorse Centre in Huddersfield to meet Elmer and enjoy a craft session with the Children’s Art School.
It was such a wonderful image that we’ve used it on our website ever since.
Now it’s our 20th anniversary year – and we’d love to find ‘Elmer boy’ and make him part of our 20 year anniversary story by reuniting him with Elmer, who will be back in Huddersfield on the weekend of 9-10 May as part of HuddLitFest26. We also have a special prize for him.
