Our next Festival will take place from 19-29 March 2020

Welcome to the award-winning Huddersfield Literature Festival

Join us for an annual celebration of books and authors, poetry and performance.

You can expect to see major authors and multi-arts events, comedy and creative writing, performance poetry and a Free Family Day – all taking place over 10 days in March, in venues across Huddersfield, with community, accessibility and inclusivity at its heart.

Enjoy a diverse programme with many free or low-cost events, some with live subtitling by Stagetext, and AccessAble Access Guides to key venues.

Meet your favourite authors, discover new talent, hone your own skills or simply come along and enjoy the entertainment on offer.

We welcome performers and audiences from all sectors of society.

We hope to see you at next year’s Festival and thank you for your continued support.
